Below are examples of the types of items designated as hazardous and CANNOT be accepted in your regular trash.

Batteries, Brake Fluid, Cleaning Solvents, Disinfectants, Driveway Sealers/Tars,  Fluorescent Light Bulbs, Glues/Cements/Solvent Based Adhesives, Gas/Kerosene Fuels, Insecticides/Herbicides, Motor Oil, Oil Filters, All Paint, Oven Cleaners, Poisons,  Photochemicals,  Pool Chemicals, Railroad Ties, Strippers, Thinner/Turpentine, Wood Preservatives, Finisher, Varnish

If you would like to legally dispose of the above mentioned hazardous items, call or visit your counties' office website for disposal information.
