Back in 1970 Capitol Disposal was formed in Springfield, IL . It was sold after 15 years of business and then became Capitol Waste Systems. The company continued to grow, adding Front load and recycling trucks to the fleet. Then in 2004 Allied Waste Industries, Inc. purchased Capitol Waste in order to help the company grow nationally. . The two companies were a perfect fit to provide the best service at the best value. We service municipal, commercial, industrial, and residential customers throughout Sangamon County. We are committed to customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Allied Waste of Sangamon County has the experience and expertise to handle any waste removal job, from residential to industrial services.
